started in 2017, anywhere but here is a party put together by jake & parsa & friends featuring vinyl records, video projections, in brooklyn spaces with art from local artists — always with proceeds routed to good causes. But what they have likely paid scant attention to is how historic women's role in this movement is. What is going on in Iran matters to the rest of the world. This is our generation’s South African moment: facing Iran’s gender-apartheid regime.
