I pretty much buy everything on Mood Hut. Canada has had a really strong 5 year stretch on the music scene. Pender Street Steppers and their Pacific coast crew has a really unique feel and this entire release is enjoyable for those who enjoy their loose, hazy, dreamy sound.

Tee Mango – Last Forever
Tee Mango does not disappoint on the latest in his Tribute edit series (#5). Uplifting disco vibes throughout. Plenty in the back catalog if you like his approach.
Henry Keen – Connectin’
Great jazzy stuff outta Brooklyn from Henry Keen. Released in 2017 on Maddjazz Recordings. Shimmery, reflective vibes. Check out the entire LP, ’70’s Baby’.
Pépé Bradock – 4
Classic material from Pépé Bradock. Deep, dark, a little sad. Highly underrated from his catalog.
John Selway – Shimmerdown
Deepness from John Selway, beautiful keys about 3 minutes in. A real mood builder and roller, patience is rewarded. Reissued in late 2017 on Future Times, originally pressed 20 years earlier on CMS records.
